We understand the complexity of issues that organizations encounter, and the legal and cultural implications that human resource strategies and decisions have upon an organization and its work force. 

To address the continually changing internal and external environments that affect an organization’s performance, HR Innovative Strategies’ professional staff and associates possess substantial career experience implementing hands-on resolutions to a wide variety of human resource matters. 

The Principal Consultant of the firm is Will Miers, SPHR.  Will has provided successful leadership in human resources management since the 1970’s for corporations such as The Sherwin-Williams Company, Outboard Marine Corporation, Globe-Union/Johnson Controls, and Quebecor World.  Working in these larger corporate environments has developed Will’s ability to support his client base through:

  • Accurate assessments of an organization’s human resource needs;
  • Provide positive solutions to address those needs; and
  • Implement those solutions in a timely, practical, hands-on manner. 

Miers approaches each assignment by developing a thorough understanding of the client’s business, industry and/or service sector, suppliers and competitors, as well as the culture and management styles unique to the client.  Will is a graduate of the University of Iowa and holds the United States Senior Professional in Human Resources designation (SPHR).
